We offer 3 different types of engraving services
Paint removal: We try to remove the paint to reveal the surface underneath. For example removing powde rcoat on a cup.
Annealing and Marking: Think of this as coloring the surface but instead of using paint we use the laser to change the material surface color.
Deep engraving: we evaporate the surface layer by laser making a lower surface area, best for permanent applications where surface wear is possible. It also gives a very unique look!
Note: Pricing can vary due to so many factors. Art work and set up fees can apply. We do welcome quantity orders and will give discounts on quantity.

Is laser engraving permanent?

For the most part Yes! On some softer materials it may wear off due to the nature of the softer materials. If you need a permanent solution for softer materials we can deep engrave them rather than anneal them.
What does Anneal mean?

Without getting too technical, Annealing is a process where the material is heated to make it change color. The color is in the material and will not come off.
Will the heat damage my item?

NO! The heat is so concentrated that it will not heat up the item. In most cases you can immediately handle the item right after the engraving. Deep engraving will heat up the item some.
What is deep engraving?

Deep engraving is exactly what it sounds like. The laser will evaporate the surface and create a lower surface area. Deep engraving can be a slow process depending on the material being engraved but it creates a unique look that is amazing!
Will laser engraving may damage my item ?

We take great care to make sure you get the result you are looking for but unfortunately we have no control over the material we are engraving. For example glass can crack during the engraving process.
